I begged, I prayed and cried,
but she left me hurting my pride.
My sole was always my side,
but left me after I died.

Everyone was near and dear,
but no one could notice my tear.
They gave me my final bath
and rapped me in a piece of cloth.

The cries became louder,
as they lift me on to their shoulder.
The journey started from here,
with flowers,petals and tears.

I was bold, strong and brave,
but shattered seeing my grave.
No friend no relation and no bonds,
they buried and washed their hands.

I begged, I prayed and cried,
but she left me hurting my pride.
